1) Kevlar
hand laid reinforced hull. (Allows for a lighter yet stronger hull which
performs better with increased fuel economy and greater durability.)
2) Gelcoat graphics and striping. (Cobalt uses
gelcoat instead of vinyl tape to accent the boat. There is less dock rash,
fading, and looks better longer. Two colour gelcoat is also standard with
either sport or classic graphic designs.)
3) Walk-thru door to bow area. (This standard
feature is mounted on stainless steel hinges that stop unwanted wind coming
through the open bow area with the cover off. This makes for better access
to the bow area while using your boat.)
4) Fiberglass engine covers. (Instead of wood
that gets wet, becomes weak and eventually rots. Cobalt uses fiberglass
that adds rigidity and durability to your boat. The appearance is also
enhanced which improves resale.)
5) Extended running surfaces. (Not just an
extension at the transom. Comparing the actual foot print to our competition,
you'll find that the Cobalt is larger than other boats of the "same
size", achieving a superior ride and performance.)
6) Aluminum plating imbedded in the fiberglass
at all key mounting points such as seat bases, windshield, cleats, and
hinges. (All of the best boat manufacturers back their screws into plywood.
Cobalt won't take the chance of allowing deteriorating wood to loosen a
screw or bolt anywhere.)
7) Small list of available options. (All that
means is what is an option on other brands is standard equipment on a Cobalt.)
8) Aluminum dash panels, glove box, and blower
vents. (Most boats use plastic to make these parts. Cobalt feels that the
only way to make this part of the boat strong is to simply make it strong.)
9) Stainless steel aircraft accessory switches,
latches, and hinges. (Feel the way a switch on a Cobalt works. Years of
testing has proven to Cobalt engineers that this is the most durable and
trouble-free switch in the industry.)
10) Nisa-core reinforced fiberglass floor.
(Synthetic honeycomb under the fiberglass makes for an extremely strong
floor with no flex and no chance for rot. Lightweight and ease of maintenance
add to worry-free boating.)
11) Warranty. (Cobalt backs every boat with
one of the most inclusive warranties in the business. Five year power train,
ten year hull and deck, five year instrument and controls, and two year
interior and vinyl. No fine print. Rest assured, your Cobalt is built to
last.)
12) Stainless steel protection. (Particular
attention is paid to the known wear and tear points of each boat. Stainless
steel components are used for rub rails, hand rails, ladders, windshield
supports, mounting fixtures, canvas hardware, and fuel fillers to give
your Cobalt that showroom look for the rest of its life.)
13) Large fuel tank and storage space. (Each
model has a larger than average fuel tank to keep you boating longer. The
storage areas are oversized and the ski storage space is spacious and easy
to clean.)
